The first murder of the month occurred on June 1, 2019 when 39 year old Anthony Harris was shot to death with multiple gunshots on the 5300 block of E Street, SE, Washington, D.C.
A reward of $25,000 is being offered for information that's leads to an arrest and conviction in this homicide or any other homicide in D.C. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202.727.9099. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department's Text Tip Line by sending a text message to 50411.
At the time of his death Anthony was working at Capstone Logistics, LLC in Maryland for 9 years.
He is survived by a daughter, his mother, sister and 3 brothers, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. One sister is previously deceased due to illness at the age of three.
